Carbquik  Bread Recipe

Want a simple, low-carb bread that’s easy to make yourself? It takes just minutes to prepare a Carbquik bread dough that bakes up into a hearty loaf. It’s perfect for anyone following a reduced carbohydrate eating plan.


Stir yeast and inulin into warm water. Set aside. Place dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Stir to combine.


Add yeast water, heavy cream, eggs, and olive oil to dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.


Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, then cover it with a dishcloth to keep out the light. Let dough rise in a warm, dark place (about 85°F) until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 350°F.


Remove the cover from the bowl. Transfer dough to a parchment lined bread pan. Gently shape it into a ball. Be careful not to press out the air.


Bake bread for 45 minutes until golden brown. Lift the bread from the pan using the edges of the parchment paper. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Cool completely before slicing.
