Instructions

  • Soak the skewers in water for a minute or two.
  • Take one skewer and shake off excess water. Place a larger gummy at the bottom, about 2 inches from the end. Stack additional gummies on top. When about half-inch from the top, add a larger gummy or marshmallow to cover the sharp point. To keep fresh, wrap in an 11x3-inch cello bag and close off with a twist tie.

Notes

Soak the skewers in water. Soaking the skewers in water beforehand will make getting the candies easier to get on.
Choose various candies. There are so many fun shapes and sizes out there for candies. Using various candies is a great way to create exciting and unique candy skewers that will wow your guests!
Use food coloring pens to add fun designs. I used food coloring pens to draw fun designs on the jumbo marshmallows. This allows you to personalize your candy kabobs!
Place larger candies on the ends. You want a good base at the bottom of the stick and you’ll also want a piece big enough to cover the sharp point at the top.
Poke holes in middle of largest surface area. To prevent cracking and candy breaking off, you should place things like gummy bears and frogs on their side.
